Armoured cable glands is a special type terminating cable glands, they are designed for wire braid cables applied in a hazardous area with ATEX Certificates.
Armoured cable diameter size is bigger than normal cables because of the armoured wires and outer sheath, so the size calculation in mm must consider this factor.
Armoured cable glands are robust metallic ranges of cable glands for industrial applications which provide an outer and inner IP seal, and armour clamping, grounding and earthing.
These cable glands are available in brass or nickel plated brass, fully kitted with relevant accessories such as locknuts, nylon seals, earthing washers and shrouds. condition
